The Rachene
The river through the village, which continues up the valley through a limestone canyon.

Reselets · Place
Reselets is more than a village. Within its territory the Rachene runs through a canyon, Skoka falls in the Belilkata valley, three separate groups of rock pinnacles carry different names, Kaleto holds its collapsed limestone blocks, and the forests and rocks carry a Natura 2000 context. The village, the rivers, the reservoir and the protected sites differ in status and ownership, and this site does not present them as one whole.

Forests and shores
The slopes around the water are wooded, the shores are overgrown, and dry and damp ground alternate between the rocks and the river. These are the habitats that make the area varied, and the reason every change starts with checking the specific site.
Natura 2000
Official registers place Reselets within the protected zone Karlukovo (BG0001014) under the Habitats Directive and Karlukovski karst (BG0000332) under the Birds Directive. The regime for each property and each activity is checked separately; the context is not a blanket label.
Ownership
The reservoir is public municipal property, operated by AQUAVIO ltd. under a concession agreement with Cherven Bryag Municipality. The adjacent private properties are separate ownership. This site is independent and is not an official page of the municipality or of any other institution.
The village
The village is the geographic anchor of the area: the river runs through it and water runs through its traditions. Its history, customs and water-powered heritage have their own page, and so does Bankovskata watermill, which according to the current owners has never stopped working, together with its perilo, a washing place in running water.
